Death toll from bad weather hits 43

The death toll from the recent bad weather reached 43 by this afternoon, the Disaster Management Center (DMC) said.

According to the latest report by the DMC on the aftermath of the recent heavy rain, floods and landslides, seven people are still missing.

The DMC also said that 14616 people are still in evacuation centers around the country.

Thousands of people were affected by the bad weather with hundreds of homes being damaged, crops destroyed and lives lost.
