Leadership training to resume next month

The Ministry of Higher Education has said that leadership training for new students entering Universities will resume on November 15, the government information department said today.

It said that the Ministry plans to seek the advice of the Attorney General in this regard due to the legal judgments pertaining to the z-score issue and the number of student admissions.

The Ministry said that the leadership training will be provided in three sessions for three batches of 9,000 students each at 28 Camps of the Army and police.

The program, which aims to provide leadership training and enhance a positive attitude in students, will cover subjects of Sri Lanka’s future vision and global changes, the processing of a strategic living plan and reaching the long term objectives, physical training, first aid, leadership qualities and common law.
