Good governance important ? Nimal

Minister Nimal Sisripala de Silva has highlighted the importance of having good governance in the country.
The Minister said this while speaking at a function in Badulla on Sunday, our reported in the area said.
?We need development, we need roads and highways but at the same time we also need good governance,? the Minister said.
He said there is no way one can talk only about development and forget the need for good governance.
?Today when the world talks about democracy they also talk about good governance so we must have good?governance at grass root level?,? he said. (Colombo Gazette)
